Fluffy white lamp

Today’s color is white. I chose to photograph a white light fixture in our apartment in Boulogne Billancourt.

Today’s colors are Gray and Red!

DSCF2508 DSCF2522 Since Thursday’s color was gray, I decided to take a photo of my fluffy gray scarf that has kept me warm this winter.

Friday’s assignment was red. I thought taking a photo of the delicious red pepper siting on the counter would be a good reminder of just how delicious the vegetables are here in Paris.

Next up:

The colors for the weekend will be White and Orange

Today is Green Wednesday

Hello from Boulogne Billancourt. Today, while wandering around this modern area of France, I noticed this tall glass building that has just the perfect amount of green tint to qualify for “green Wednesday”. I also added a little green enhancement using Light Room for post production.

Watch out for Tomorrow’s entry about Gray Thursday.

Hello! It’s Turquoise Tuesday

DSCF2435 DSCF2421

Today’s challenge was to post using the color Turquoise. I has planned on photographing a piece of jewelry or thinking about what I have that is the requested color.  As it turns out, I didn’t have to look very hard. During my morning meeting, I used my turquoise notebook and as I had my first sip of coffee, I noticed that my mug was also turquoise.

Aujourd’hui, la mission est très facile. Tomorrow, I will post Green Wednesday! …….A Bientôt!

Color Challenge week – Today is Maroon Monday

In effort to practice using my new camera, I will have a series of posts this week featuring a new color each day. Today happens to be maroon Monday. I chose to write about my fitbit as it is obviously maroon and a pretty cool device. For those of you that have not heard of the fitbit. It is a tiny tracker available in a variety of colors. It monitors literally every move that you make throughout the day. It even records your sleeping pattern to reveal if you have had a good nights rest or not. In the image above, the fitbit is showing how many steps I have taken today. If I were to push the button, it would also give information such as how many flights of stairs I have climbed, how many miles I walked and how many calories I have burned today. Overall, it simply makes you more aware of how active you really are. I have really enjoyed seeing my progress and having competitions with others. Well, that’s all for maroon Monday. Stay tuned for turquoise Tuesday!

Sad to leave Korea….

We  have lived in Korea for the past two years. What I thought would be one year abroad evolved into two and the desire to continue living overseas. Although I want to travel everywhere, it is difficult to leave a place after making friends and becoming so familiar with a culture and area. The people […]

The tour of Japan

We were lucky enough to explore quite a bit of Japan. On this trip, we covered Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Fuji lakes and Takamatsu. Japan has a unique flair that I really admire. It is an exotic place with a style that cannot be found elsewhere. The future and past seem to be somehow blended in […]

A Very British Christmas in London

  • Stunning Streets of London

London is everything I thought it would be and more. I wanted to visit this gorgeous city to take in the sights and check it off my list; part of me thought it would be too familiar and not exotic enough to make it to my list of absolute favorite places. I was mistaken… London […]

Gym time in Korea

Since my gym time is important to me, I thought I would share in case anyone else has relocated to Korea and has trouble fining a place to work out. Many areas do a good job of advertising their fitness clubs. My area is getting better as it is growing; few new places have been […]
